Zandhoven - VG

Private

For this project, the existing kitchen and bathroom located on the ground floor have been redesigned and expanded. The kitchen – previously located in a smaller, separate space of the house – has been opened up and incorporated in the living space. These structural modifications expands living space, granting the house a wholly new spatial feel. The toilet and bathroom have been camouflaged behind a panel door to keep the attention in the living space. This alteration redefines the previous division of the spaces, finding a balance between openness, homeliness and functionality.
